Wasted, delayed, and irrelevant

Yes that's what this blog is all about and basically is what my life has been in the past few weeks. I was making the excuse of the midterms to feel like everything was going to go wrong etc. etc. but a week past midterms and the midterm break I still feel like my life is doomed and this torture is never going to Just Kiddin, actually I feel more energetic and happy to work hard to finish this year like the big ones. There's a lot of things following up the end of the school semester/ the year. I have many expectations of this upcoming weeks and I hope everything works out perfectly. In more detailed info lat week I was done with my life activity class, which was soccer. I gotta say that I am a little bit sad because I was enjoying it a lot. Anyway all I have to say is many thanks to all my soccer mates and specially Coach Mike N. (Women's soccer coach) It was awesome I hope to get to play woth ya'll again.

I forgot what I was going to talk about...
Damn I really don't remember a thing, it is maybe due to the increasing stress of the upcoming midterms, or it might be that I need to eat more because lately I haven't been eating so well. Anyway, is thirsty Thursday again and we all know that we don't forgive those. With that meaning that yes I am going out tonight with the international brigade of bar hoppers ha haha. Although today I have to relax since I have a test tomorrow. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh by the way I've seen that other bloggers write about their day and I don't know if I really want to do that for various reasons.
The first reason is that I will end up looking like a very happy person (which I am most of the time) or a really oppressed and angry person (which I could be too) but I am neither. So I'll just write about stuff that I think is in the best interest of people going to Augsburg College... and some random stuff as well.
and please if you do get to see this let me know by making a comment or by spreading out the word about the bloggers .

Ok I guess you have noticed that there is some issued going on between the day students and the propaganda for the so called college for "Adults". In my opinion, I think the student body senate is wasting time and energy in addressing such matter. With all due respect to my fellow student friends in the senate committee, you should take care of other important things like what's going to happen to the general student area for. It just seems to me that taking such big action towards something that is just targeting a different segment of people to come to school is not really mature, or smart for that matter. So if you really argue that you are Adults... yes we know (you) we are Adults... (well some of us there is still some outliers out there) then start acting like such and focus your time and energy in doing something more constructive instead of making people within the Augsburg community desegregated. Anyway, I really apologize to anyone that could get offended by this but I think that if you have something to say, please feel free to post back or send me an e-mail to lopezmon@augsburg.com

I gotta say that I had class during the fireworks on Monday and I felt more like I was in Bagdad with all the booms and ak-47 sounds on the backgorund...

Reality check:

I just think that they should fire the fireworks on frida or some like that so we all can enjoy them. Plus I gotta say that it was extremely anoying to have class with all that noise.

On other news on thursday ISO will be hosting a shot out game from 11 30 to 12 30 where you can win prices. So don't forget to stop by and say hi to the international pals.



Anyway, there is also a new student gallery in the basement of old main. Remember to check this gallery regularly since it rotates quite a bit. (Some of my work is up there)

Cr(H)appy Monday

Yes crappy Monday shouldn't it be happy but is rainy and windy and I feel like I did not get enough sleep. I am going to be late for stats again. I had a crappy weekend as well all day for two days in the library. I did went out on saturday and actually got kicked out of a bar for attempt to suicide ha haha, which I wasn't. I was just trying to save my friends' Zippo that fell on the balcony. Anyway I wish you all a nice week and I promise I'll write something more meaningful throughout the week.

Mondays suck, but so does Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays...

I cannot express how much I hate Mondays and I am not a hater. The thing is that my Mondays this year are booked from 8 AM to 12 PM. Sometimes is even hard to eat lunch or dinner (or even go to the bathroom). I am so jealous of my roommates every time I go back to my room to change gear and books, because I always find them playing X-box or watching a movie…

Anyway I don’t like to complain too much. I’ll rather talk (or write) about something more meaningful to all of you… and that is The Fall art Tour formerly known as The Art attack. So don’t miss on going around the twin cities Colleges to appreciate some Art.
