Since Augsburg is committed to community service I thought I’d share about one volunteer opportunity I recently heard about. It’s called the Mother Bear Project and was started about 5 years ago. The goal of the project is to collect hand-made bears that are then shipped to children in various countries in Africa. There are many ways to participate in the project, starting from actually making the bears to helping pack the boxes for shipping.
